On Aug.6, SGMW announce that Wuling Hongguang S launches in Harbin and Kunming at the same time, total include three models: 1.2L comfort, 1.5Lcomfort and 1.5L Luxury.
As an important upgrade product of Wuling Hongguang, Wuling Hongguang S will address the growing need for multi-purpose passenger vehicle and become the new choice for target customers of traditional MPV segment.
Wuling Hongguang, which has created the concept of commercial vehicle segment, has accumulatively sold 750,000 units since gone on sale in Sep 2010. Wuling Hongguang with Chevrolet nameplate has achieved 4,428 sales in 40 days after its debut in India passenger vehicle segment on May 9, 2013, so that it has become the top monthly-sales product of GM in the region.
Wuling Hongguang S uses chroming bumper of Chevrolet style, collocates with the reticular intake grille and eagle eye headlights, which produces more visual impact feeling. In interior decoration, surrounding design of two tone highlights its market positioning of family vehicle.
The wheelbase of Wuling Hongguang S reached 2720mm, and its luggage room extended to 330L. There are total 22 containers inside. Besides, Wuling Hongguang S has spacious inner room, the passengers in third row still has unstinted leg room and head room which creates better riding feeling.
In power, Wuling Hongguang equipped with 1.5L and 1.2L P-TEC engine of General Motors, it has slow-speed of revolution and high torque, and has great advantage in fuel economy.
